I had an emergency landing at RDU on 6/9 due to a bird strike that blew out the front windscreen on my RV-7. Every single person that I encountered at TAC Air including ramp workers, maintenance, front desk, management… EVERYONE went over and beyond. They were simply incredible. The lady (Helen?) working the line even brought candy, snacks, and Band-Aids to help my small son after the traumatic experience. A few days later when I went to settle up the bill for hangar space etc., I was informed that there was no charge. “We’re glad we could help and glad you and your son are OK.”

Line personnel friendly and efficient. Front desk personnel (Akeelah and Joyce) were top drawer wonderful. Rental car, sent over from Avis, was parked in front of my C210 before engine shut down. Next day departure handled with speed and helpfulness. Facilities wonderful, cookies fresh, and coffee hot. A very satisfying experience.
